A postdoctoral research fellow position is available in the Gruss-Lipper Biophotonics Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, USA. This 4-year postdoc position is funded by the NIH to study gene regulation involved in tumor suppression and embryonic stem cell differentiation. The research utilizes a combination of state-of-art cryo-electron microscopy and super-resolution live-cell single molecule fluorescence microscopy.

Qualified candidates should have recently obtained a PhD degree in Physics or a Biophysics-related science. Programming experience is required for this position due to the nature of the research project heavily involving image processing.

The successful applicant will receive excellent research experiences from the PIs and the cutting-edge interdisciplinary, innovative, and collaborative research environment in the Gruss-Lipper Biophotonics Center at Einstein. The Center is dedicated to developing advanced techniques to address disease-driven biological questions and therapeutic targets at the unprecedented nanoscale level.
