The Institute for Quantum Optics, group of Prof. Fedor Jelezko offers a

Post-doc position (100%) for a candidate (f/m)

in the field of Quantum technology for hyperpolarization (limited to three years).
The Institute of Quantum Optics is active in a wide range quantum technologies enabled by quantum control of color centers in diamond including quantum sensing, quantum information and quantum communication (www.quantenoptik.de).

The project related to this advertisement is focused on hyperpolarization technology using NV centers in diamond and optically active spins in SiC for ultrasensitive NMR and MRI. Owing to its interdisciplinary nature it is conducted research at our Institute is a team effort. Successful candidate will contribute to this effort by their work on understanding of the physics involved in polarization transfer process and address technological and methodological challenges of hyperpolarization for ultrasensitive NMR and MRI. Experience in the field of EPR, NMR, MRI or quantum control of NV centers in diamond and SiC is expected.

The salary for the Post-doc position is 100% of the salary according to TV-L E13.
