The postholder will be employed as Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Public Engagement) on ‘Prison Reform, Welfare and Release' as part of Wellcome Trust Senior Investigator Award ‘Prisoners, Medical Care and Entitlement to Health in England and Ireland, 1850-2000’, a collaborative project between Assoc. Professor Catherine Cox (UCD) and Professor Hilary Marland (University of Warwick), the two Principal Investigators (PIs).
 
The postholder will play a lead role in the development a range of public engagement activities central to the project and assist in co-convening policy workshops and producing policy reports, manage social media activity and the project website.
 
This position may be appointed at either UCD Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or Level 2 depending on the relevant qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
 
Salary: PD1 - €36,489 - €42,181 per annum; PD2 - €43,394 - €44,643 per annum.
 
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
