Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Embryology:

Understanding the impact of LINE1 retrotransposition on development

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Alex Bortvin at the Carnegie Institution for Science, Department of Embryology.

An ideal candidate will be a creative individual with an expertise in molecular and cellular biology, and a strong interest in genomics approaches who will investigate mechanisms of cytotoxicity of intermediates of LINE1 retrotransposition on mouse somatic and germ cells of both sexes. For more information about Dr. Bortvin's research visit: https://emb.carnegiescience.edu/science/faculty/alex-bortvin.
