Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

 

This post is funded under the DFID-ESRC Growth Research Programme Call 3, ESRC Reference: ES/N013344/1, on “Delivering Inclusive Financial Development and Growth”, led by the Principal Investigator, Professor Victor Murinde, at SOAS University of London.

The successful candidate will conduct research of the highest quality and make significant contribution to the creation of knowledge, as well as to provide strategic and operational support by undertaking a specified range of activities, with respect to the DFID-ESRC funded research project, under the direct supervision of the PI, Professor Victor Murinde.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate should have a PhD in a relevant field including finance, economics, or statistics. A good knowledge of applied econometrics including skills of data management and qualitative and quantitative research methods is expected.
