Bioinformatician on Immunology: Osaka, Japan : Osaka, Japan 

KOTAI Biotechnologies, Inc. (KOTAI, Osaka, Japan) is a bioinformatics spinoff from Osaka University's world leading research center, Immunology Frontier Research Center (IFReC) launched in 2016. Their unique and sophisticated bioinformatics has enabled to analyze high throughput immune repertoire (BCR, TCR, antibodies, etc) data in higher resolution than ever before. Since an immune repertoire shows the fingerprints of our past and current biological states, it is highly expected to detect signals of various kinds of diseases such as infectious and autoimmune diseases and cancer. In collaboration with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as well as academic institutions, KOTAI would work on discoveries of new biomarkers and therapeutic compounds through the repertoire analysis.

We recruit two bioinformatics researchers for immune repertoire analysis, the algorithm development, and structural bioinformatics on Immunology. Since both the immune-sequencing and our bioinformatics approach is new, there are huge opportunities to invent new therapeutics. To this end, we need to develop and improve our bioinformatics algorithms by integrations of different experimental data types and approaches for the data analysis.
