Dr. Sangwon V. Kim’s lab in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Thomas Jefferson University invite application for the postdoctoral fellowship in the field of Mucosal Immunology. The applicant should have or expect to receive Ph.D in Immunology/microbiology or in a related field and should have a prior experience in handling mice. Trainee will be mentored by the principal investigator who has been active in cutting-edge research related to immune tolerance, mucosal immunology, and lymphocyte homing and will learn to use mouse genetics, gnotobiotic technique, and CRISPR-CAS technology to answer important questions in the field of mucosal immunology. The successful candidate should be motivated and must be able to perform self-directed work, and possess excellent collaborative/communication skills.
