We are currently looking for immunologists at postdoctoral and/or research assistant levels to characterize the phenotype and functions of immune cells, and to identify biomarkers and pathways that contribute to pathogenic responses to transfusions in patients with sickle cell disease and the autoimmune pathogenesis in patients with immune thrombocytopenia.

Requirements include:
• PhD and/or MD (for postdoctoral positions) and Master’s Degree (for research assistant positions) with strong background in cellular and/or molecular immunology (including T and B lymphocytes and monocyte and DCs).
• Prior experience with human patient sample and/or mouse experimentation highly desirable.
• Experience in flow cytometry is preferred, and knowledge of molecular biology and /or cellular biology is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high degree of motivation with good organizational and analytical abilities.
