Johns Hopkins Medicine is an integrated global health enterprise based in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Diverse and inclusive, we educate medical students, scientists, health care professionals and the public; conduct biomedical research; and provide patient-centered medicine to prevent, diagnose and treat human illness.
The Larman Laboratory is situated within the Immunology Division of the Pathology Department, in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Here we develop and deploy highly multiplexed DNA sequencing-based molecular assays to better understand human immune responses. The lab is currently seeking applicants for a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular biology. The successful applicant will have a broad background in molecular techniques, particularly in the design and construction of expression libraries. Experience in immunology is strongly preferred. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and large datasets is desired but not required.
Applicants should be highly motivated, creative, meticulous, and hard working. Successful applicants will have a clear record of scientific achievement. This position is only available to individuals currently residing within the United States. |
