The Schwer Laboratory at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow. A major interest of the laboratory is the study of molecular factors involved in chromosomal maintenance and DNA repair processes in neural stem/progenitor cells and post-mitotic neurons, and the biological role of these processes in brain development, aging, and cancer.

 

The Schwer Laboratory is located within the vibrant scientific community of the UCSF Mission Bay research campus. Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree and a background in developmental biology, neurobiology, or molecular biology and genetics, ideally demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals. UCSF provides an exceptional training environment for postdoctoral fellows.
