One postdoctoral associate position is available in the Division of Reproductive Sciences, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Colorado Denver on the Anschutz Medical Campus.

The Su lab is searching for a qualified post-doctoral fellow that will conduct research focused upon cellular and molecular mechanisms of human fetoplacental endothelial cell function in normal pregnancies and those compromised by placental insufficiency and fetal growth restriction. This individual will report directly to the Principal Investigator of the laboratory, who is a physician-scientist. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, excellent skills in scientific writing, and relevant technical skills.

Minimum Requirements include:
- PhD in relevant scientific area including Molecular Biology or Cell Biology
- Relevant previous postdoctoral experience (for applicants with a previous postdoctoral 
fellowship)
- Relevant technical skills, including experience with primary cell culture and routine 
laboratory experiments such as performance and analysis of real-time PCR, western blotting, 
immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, EIAs, gene transfection and infection studies
- Ability to record and maintain thorough lab research documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent skills in scientific writing
- Ability to work independently yet collaboratively
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to being a team player in the lab and advancing 
knowledge in the field
