摘要:

The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) 303 “Pemphigoid Diseases - Molecular Pathways and their therapeutic Potential” (Speaker: Prof. D. Zillikens; Coordinator: Prof. C. Sadik) is a newly established DFG-funded research cluster at the University of Lübeck. The CRU consists of a multidisciplinary consortium of high-profile investigators dedicated to elucidate the molecular mechanisms driving the effector phase of pemphigoid diseases, as a prototypical example for autoantibody-mediated, organ-specific diseases. Herein, the CRU applies a comprehensive research approach including preclinical models of pemphigoid diseases as well as human studies. To support our research program, we are currently searching a

Postdoc in Intravital Imaging of Inflammation,

optimally starting by April 1st, 2016. The postdoc will support elucidating the mechanism of effector cell recruitment in autoantibody-induced skin inflammation. For this effort, a multiphoton microscope is available in the group and models for skin imaging are established. The imaging is part of a collaborative CRU project of Prof. Peter König (Dept. of Anatomy) and Prof. Christian Sadik (Dept. of Dermatology).

Requirements for the applicants are

• A PhD degree

• Experience in intravital imaging

• A strong interest in translational immunology

• Strong publication record

• Fluency in English

• High motivation

We offer

• High-quality research in the dynamic and international environment of the CRU 303 within the University of Lübeck and the Excellence Cluster Inflammation-at-Interfaces.

• Access to unique mouse models of skin inflammation and imaging technology

• A long-term perspective as postdoc

• The opportunity to rise to an independent principal investigator in the foreseeable future if qualified

The University of Lübeck is an equal opportunities employer. Applications from female candidates are strongly encouraged. In case of compatible qualifications, preference will be given to people with disabilities.
