An NIH-funded postdoctoral researcher position is available in Dr. Li Wu’s lab in the Center for Retrovirus Research at The Ohio State University (OSU) to study HIV interactions with host factors. The NIH-funded project focuses on the mechanisms of HIV-1 Nef interaction with host proteins in viral latency. The laboratory is located in an interdisciplinary and interactive Center offering state-of-the-art equipment and core facilities. Highly motivated candidates with a Ph.D. in cell biology, virology, molecular biology, genetics, or immunology are encouraged to apply. Previous postdocs trained in the lab have become independent faculty members at universities or senior scientists in pharmaceutical companies.
OSU is one of the most comprehensive health sciences centers in America and contains an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with extensive shared resources, and multiple signature programs in infectious disease research.
