Postdoctoral research associate position is available immediately at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University in New York city. The research project will investigate dysregulation of Cullin-RING ubiquitin ligases in the etiology of cancer and other pathological conditions. The project will involve the use of advanced biochemical, chemical, cell, molecular, mouse genetic and human pathological methodologies. The position will also involve interactions with outstanding colleagues interested in posttranslational modifications and tumorigenesis at the neighboring Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Rockefeller University. Opportunities to visit these laboratories to work on collaborative projects are encouraged. Individuals with a PhD and experience in cell, molecular and chemical biology, and strong writing and communication skills are highly desirable.
