Postdoctoral Researcher - Biochemistry of Mammalian DNA Repair : Oxford, United Kingdom

We wish to recruit a postdoctoral researcher to join the Biochemistry Group headed by Professor Grigory Dianov. The major goal of the group is to study the proteins and mechanisms involved in the coordination and regulation of base excision repair, to unravel their role in the repair of radiation induced DNA damage and to examine the relationship to human diseases, such as cancer.

The role will be to initiate, develop and manage a research project within Professor Dianov’s Biochemistry of Mammalian DNA Repair research programme.

You will have a PhD/DPhil in biochemistry, cell biology or molecular biology. Experience in DNA repair, protein purification and cellular or molecular biology is desirable.

This is a full-time post and is offered fixed-term until 31 March 2017 in the first instance with the possibility of extension.
