A postdoctoral position is open at the Institute of Cellular and Molecular Radiation Biology (iRCM, Paris area, France) within the Life Science Division of the Atomic Energy Commission (CEA, Fontenay-aux-Roses) which is dedicated to biomedical research, development and innovation with major societal challenges in health and energy. Understanding the mechanisms of cancer is one of the priorities of the CEA. The CEA Center has aimed to become a biomedical imaging and technology research and innovation cluster housing some state-of-the-art facilities including the Molecular Imaging Research Center (MIRCen) or the Genoscope (National Sequencing Center).

Our new laboratory (LCM, Laboratory of Cancer and Microenvironmentis interested in investigating the tumor microenvironment and particularly, the novel role of the autonomic nervous system in tumor initiation and metastasis.

Candidates must have a recent PhD (completed less than 12 months ago from current date) and have at least one first author publication in international scientifc journal. 
Applicants who have expertise in oncology, molecular and cellular biology, stem cell research or neuroscience will be considered. Experience in working with animal models is required.
