摘要:

2 years -Postdoctoral Position in Marseille, France

A post-doctoral position for two years is immediately available (September 2015) in the team 1 of the Center of Research in Oncobiology and Oncopharmacology (CRO2) in Aix-Marseille University, Marseille, France (INSERM-911 unit).

The postdoctoral fellowship will be involved interdisciplinary research that associates CRO2 and mathematicians of the I2M (UMR-CNRS 7353, Marseille).

The team investigates the role of microtubule and regulatory proteins such as EB1 in Glioblastoma progression and effect of drugs on microtubule dynamics both in vitro, in cells, or in animal models (intravital microscopy). The team has recently become interested in computational modelling. The project is part of collaboration with mathematicians. The candidate will investigate processes of microtubule dynamics, regulation by EB proteins, effect of microtubule-targeted drugs and consequences in cell division and migration/invasion of Glioblastoma cells. Techniques will comprise imaging (TIRF, confocal microscopy, FRAP, FRET, biphoton, intravital microscopy), RNAi technologies, transfections, and protein biochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Microtubule dynamics will be analysed both in vitro, in cells or by using intravital microscopy (biphoton).

Qualifications: Highly motivated candidates will have a strong background in cell biology and biochemistry, cell imaging, performing animal studies. Experience with microtubules will be important. The candidate should have proven creativity and scientific productivity in form of publications in peer reviewed scientific journals. Experience of interdisciplinary research projects within biology and mathematics are also qualifying. The postdoc is expected to take an active role in this interdisciplinary cooperation and to work independently with good written and oral communication skills. A first experience as a post-doctoral researcher is a plus. Applicants should send their CV with bibliography, contact information and three letters of references to Dr Stéphane Honoré: stephane.honore@univ-amu.fr
