Job Description

Postdoctoral position available to study the molecular mechanisms of cell-cell interactions during mammalian development and in postnatal physiology and pathology.

We currently study the molecular mechanisms by which the Hedgehog (Hh) signal is transduced in mammals. These studies will provide important mechanistic insight into Hh signal transduction and human diseases caused by aberrant Hh signaling.

We also wish to answer fundamental questions in lung cell type specification, the molecular process of lung injury/repair and the pathogenesis of lung cancer development.

We have combined mouse genetics (transgenic and knockout mice), cell biology and genomic analysis to tackle these important issues.
