摘要:

WHAT: Opportunity for a skilled and highly motivated postdoc to join our research bridging organic electronics and plasmonics. While plasmonics provides means for light-matter control at the nanoscale, organic electronics enable a new generation of novel electronic components based on conducting polymers. In this project, we will explore conceptually new applications based on a combination of unique features of these two fields.

WHO: Suitable candidates have a PhD and strong scientific background in physics, materials science or other relevant field, where experience in plasmonics, nanophotonics, conducting polymers, and thermoelectrics are of extra merit. Skills and experience that will be particularly valuable include optical, electrical and thermal measurements; micro- and nanofabrication; simulations (i.e. FDTD, FEM/Comsol); and experimental setup design (incl. Labview). Good communication skills (English), strong motivation, positive attitude, and ability to work well both independently and with others are equally important.

WHERE: The postdoctoral fellow will be a member of the Laboratory of Organic Electronics at Linköping University, which constitute a collaborative cross-disciplinary environment headed by Prof. Magnus Berggren. The laboratory is divided into several research areas and this project will be part of the Organic Photonics and Nano-Optics group and supervised by Asst. Prof. Magnus Jonsson.

APPLICATION: Please apply electronically directly to Dr. Magnus Jonsson (magnus.jonsson@liu.se), by sending cover letter, CV (with names and contact information of two or three suitable referees), publication list, top three publications, and other documents that you may find relevant (preferably as one pdf). Applications will be evaluated continuously until the deadline 24th of May 2015.

OTHER DETAILS: The postdoctoral fellow will be funded by a competitive stipend, initially for one year and with the possibility for extension. Starting time is late summer or fall 2015. The applicant must not have worked or lived in Sweden for more than nine months and their PhD degree must not exceed 5 years. …
