A full-time postdoctoral position is available in a research laboratory in the Dept. of Medicine, Division of Hematologic Malignancies and Cellular Therapy, Duke University. The successful candidate will participate in studies to define the molecular characteristics of tissue microenvironments that regulate transit, proliferation and dormancy of malignant breast cancer cells in the bone marrow microenvironment. In combination with molecular and cell biological approaches, the candidate will utilize state-of-the-art in vivo multiphoton and confocal optical imaging techniques to explore these questions (References: Science, 322:1861-65; Nature, 435:969-73; Blood, 121:4821-31).
