Grade 7 : £30,434 – £37,394 per annum.

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Dr Emily Flashman on a research project funded by the BBSRC for a period of 3 years. The project involves the biochemical, kinetic and mechanistic investigation of the Plant Cysteine Oxidases. Find out more about the Flashman research group at http://flashman.chem.ox.ac.uk.

You should have a PhD in biochemistry, chemical biology or a relevant subject area, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. You should have expertise in enzyme kinetics, biophysical protein assays or crystallography, or be willing to learn new techniques related to mechanistic enzymology.

The post will be based in the Department of Chemistry, South Parks Road, Oxford. OX1 3TA
