Description

A post-doctoral position is open in the Gabellini laboratory at OSR to work in muscle epigenetics. This project will integrate genome-wide epigenomic data (ChIP-seq and RNA-seq) with mouse genetics and cell biology approaches. Qualification We are searching for a highly motivated and career-oriented research fellow with a high level of independence and a PhD degree in molecular and cellular biology. Candidates must have a solid experience in chromatin biology and muscle research. Possessing programming skills and experience in bioinformatics will be considered an advantage. The Gabellini team We are a multi-national team interested in understanding the mechanisms and dynamics of epigenetic regulation and chromatin structure, which coordinate global gene expression programs in normal and dystrophic muscle. We use in vitro and in vivo approaches to identify RNA profiles, transcription factor binding sites and epigenomes defining functional gene “hubs” and decision points that dynamically coordinate gene programming.
 

Benefits
