with a preferred starting date of 1 June 2015. The research project is funded by the Research Executive Agency of the European Commission as part of the Horizon 2020 programme and studies the politics of fiscal and economic integration. Under the lead of the SCEUS, the research project will be executed by internationally renown political scientists from 7 leading European Universities (and a group of legal scholars). The project builds on the Comparative Political Economy literature and liberal intergovernmentalism and analyzes empirically member states’ governments preferences for different fiscal and economic integration proposals.
