    CellsforCells is an energetic, young spinoff company in the area of stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine. The company is a startup from the University of Los Andes and works with European and US-based collaborators.
    CellsforCells is now recruiting new team members to further advance its R&D in Stem Cells and in Regenerative and Translational Medicine.
    CellsforCells has all the necessary components – research , development and fabrication laboratories, Animal and GMP facilities, and is affiliated to the University of Los andes and its newly opened state of the art university hospital. The group is currently running multiple clinical trials including a registered stem cell therapy trial for cardiovascular diseases.
    Our international partner network includes prestigious universities and companies in the US, France and Singapore.
    Projects: Studies will have a strong in vivo emphasis, and include: culture of IPS and MSCs, differentiation into specific lineages and transplantation of iPS-derived cells into immunodeficient animal models.
Desired Skills: We are looking for an independent, motivated and enthusiastic post-doc with experience in: IPS or ES cells culture with and without feeder conditions; lineage differentiation suing specific transcription or growth factors; progenitor cell biology and cell culture; animal handling/surgery; cell transplantation; viral vectors; physiological testing; histology and microscopy; molecular biology and basic biochemistry. The candidate should also bring a strong desire to prepare manuscripts and mentor technicians and students .
