The faculty mentor for this position will be Dr.WEIQIANG ZHANG. Postdoc Research Trainee position to work with PI on NIH supported program in cystic fibrosis (CF) research. The researach will focus on studying an inhibitory protein complex involved in the pathogenesis of CF lung disease, using cell and animal models of CF. Required cell/tissue culture experience, as well as protein characterization and function study (e.g. western blotting, IP/co-IP, immunofluorescence staining and imaging, ELISA), molecular biology (PCR, mutagenesis, sequencing), and animal studies (mice). Prefer experience in cystic fibrosis researach or related lung diseases.

Qualifications: PhD or MD in biomedical research.

Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and based on the prevailing wage for postdoctoral research trainees set by the U.S. Department of Labor.
