英国剑桥大学招聘CNS髓鞘再生研究博士后

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position funded by Medical Research Council under UK-China Stem Cell partnership initiative, on a joint project studying the mechanisms of steroid receptor agonists during CNS remyelination.

The goal of the project is to elucidate the role of a number of signalling molecules associated with the promyelination effect of oestrogen receptor activation in CNS progenitor cells. Using model of CNS remyelination and combining genetic and pharmacological approaches, the project will identify novel regulatory factors in CNS remyelination.

You will have, or about to obtain, a PhD in Developmental Biology, Stem Cell Biology, Neurosciences or related field and possess the following skills:

- Experience in CNS disease models
- Experience in molecular biological techniques.
- Proven publication record
- Experience in immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridisation and associated techniques for image acquisition and analysis
- Experience with tissue cultures
