This vacancy is part of the European ITEA2 project Benefit. The main objective of the Benefit project is to improve patient stratification and patient treatment by quantification and integration of pre- and intra-interventional images/ data into personalized models for workflow and CDSS. The work at the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam (BIGR group) in the Erasmus MC will focus on analysis of pre-operative imaging data and integration in image guided interventions, were we will be targeting neuro-interventional applications, such as endovascular aneurysm treatment. To this end, we will develop and validate image processing and registration techniques. In this project, you will cooperate with clinical partners in the Erasmus MC, as well as with partners in the Benefit project.
