摘要:

This position is one to three years in duration, during which time the Post-Doctoral Research Associate (Regenerative Biology) will conceive and conduct research focused on the development of blood, germ line or neural crest lineages. The goal of the research is to identify and study progenitor cells within any of these lineages, with a vision to ultimately employ these cells in regenerative medicine.

Primary Responsibilities
•Conceive and conduct experiments on the development of blood, germ line or neural crest lineages using both in vivo murine models and in vitro murine or human cells
•Employ a diverse set of molecular, cell, and developmental biology skills including molecular cloning, high-throughput sequencing, quantitative PCR, cell culture, cell transplantation, fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), tissue dissection, and tissue staining
•Disseminate research results through conferences and publications in peer-reviewed journals
•Participate in the writing of grant or fellowship applications
•Support the mission of the Morgridge Institute for Research by collaborating with scientists either at the Institute, at the University of Wisconsin, or in the global research community
•Attend meetings at the Morgridge Institute for Research and other meetings as required
