One postdoctoral fellowship opening is available at the Schepens Eye Research Institute/Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School. The positions involve image processing research for development of portable devices for visually impaired people.  Duties of the postdoctoral fellow: developing algorithms for object tracking and motion analysis in video images, implementing algorithms in DSP or FPGA systems, implement prototype devices and conduct evaluation studies with patients. Opportunities to interact with vision scientists and clinicians, and expand to biomedical engineering research.
