Postdoctoral Researcher or Graduate (Ph.D.) Research Assistant studying Uncertainty in Life Cycle Assessments, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)

The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is Singapore’s fourth national university, created in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

We are currently seeking a postdoctoral researcher active in the field of industrial ecology. The postdoctoral researcher will study the characterization, propagation and communication of uncertainty in life cycle assessment methodology. A successful candidate would be:
• A recent Ph.D. graduate in engineering or related field,
• Familiar with environmental life cycle assessments, carbon footprints, or design for environment,
• Familiar with probability, statistics, or uncertainty quantification,
• Experience working in the automotive, buildings or energy domains is a plus,
• Driven and self-motivated,
• A team player,
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Job duties include producing peer-reviewed technical manuscripts, communicating results to research sponsors, supervising students and research assistants collaborating on the project.

This is a full-time, 2.5-year position based in Singapore, with possibility of extension. We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, and benefits.
