SESYNC invites applications for a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship as part of a new SESYNC-USDA collaboration to catalyze data-driven research on food systems resilience to climate change. We seek applications from PhD-level researchers with an interest in and/or prior research experience with data-driven analytical and/or modeling approaches to synthesize existing climate, socio-economic, demographic, and environmental data to address pressing questions related to food/agroecological systems resilience to climate change. The Fellow will also lead the planning, organization, and management of the new SESYNC-USDA "Data to Motivate Synthesis" Program.
Visit http://sesync.us/foodsystems for details. For best consideration,

Ecological Systems, Social Systems & Environmental Change
SESYNC invites applications for 2-year postdoctoral fellowships for our new Postdoctoral Socio-Environmental Immersion Program, in which early career scholars will be immersed in a formal program, cohort, and setting dedicated to understanding socio-environmental systems and solving the challenges they face. Working with Research Collaborators and supported by in-house computational resources, Fellows will codevelop postdoctoral projects focused on ecological systems and/or social systems and environmental change. Framing this experience is a series of collaborative workshops, led by eminent scholars, on foundational theories relevant to environmental insight.
