Positions are available immediately in the Brain Tumor Center and Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. The positions involve basic and translational research in the areas of glioma cell biology, mouse models of brain cancer, and tumor cell exploitation of the brain microenvironment for selective growth and invasion. The post-doc will receive training in the use of mouse models and in vitro culture systems to study cell adhesion and signaling pathways involved in cancer cell-stromal cell communication. A strong background in biochemistry and/or molecular biology is preferred but not necessary.
