The postdoc position will be exploring the applications of observing magnetic resonance spectra on the single spin level (both ESR and NMR) using ESNSTM (electron spin noise scanning tunneling microscopy). There are unique possibilities in directions of chemical identification and analysis on the single atom level; in single spin physics and in single spin manipulation and quantum information. The research will be performed with microscopes operated at UHV and cryogenic conditions, using complicated rf detection systems. The position is open for one year with a possible extension for another one.
