The AIDS and Cancer Virus Program (ACVP), pursues multidisciplinary research programs in basic and applied molecular virology, viral immunology, and retroviral pathogenesis.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an energetic, driven, and focused individual who can independently perform molecular biology and cell culture assays to develop independent research project. The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct research with Dr. Brandon Keele, Principal Investigator of the Retroviral Evolution Section, utilizing state-of-the-art sequencing approaches with nonhuman primate models of AIDS to address basic and applied research questions including viral transmission, dynamics and evolution, immune evasion, viral persistence and reservoirs. Emphasis on project involving non-human primates to study interferon resistance in lentiviral infection.
