The main interest of the laboratory is in the characterization of histone variants and histone post-translational modifications in chromatin structure and function. In addition to the fundamental aspects of this research, the laboratory has a strong interest in the chromatin determinants of prostate cancer with special emphasis on the transition from androgen dependence to androgen independence.

The suitable candidate should have a strong background in Molecular Biology (ChIP, ChiP-seq, QPCR, si/shRNA silencing, ectopic expression of proteins) and Cellular Biology (cell culture immunofluorescence). Experience with lentiviral delivery systems and next generation sequencing data analysis would be an asset. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and less than four years postdoctoral experience.
