We are reviewing applications for an open Postdoctoral Associate position in a collaborative Program directed to the design, assembly and optimizations of solution-processed organic Solar Cells, spanning elaborate single and multi-junction device configurations. Projects involve: Device implementation studies, testing, and advanced characterizations; Charge transport and spectroscopic studies, nanostructural ordering and morphology analyses; Tandem devices, and novel device configurations; Instrumentation: EQE/IQE, PL, GIXS, TEM, SEM, AFM, c-AFM, Modeling, Etc. Program led by Prof. Pierre Beaujuge, in collaboration with several Groups at KAUST and in the US/EU (Stanford, NIST, University of Toronto, Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research)。

Appointment is for 1 year, and can be extended to 2-3 years.

Applications may be sent directly to pierre.beaujuge@kaust.edu.sa, including Resume/CV, list of publications/patents, and contact information of 2-3 referees.

About the Group:
We conduct Research on functional nanomaterials, polymers/macromolecules, and organic-inorganic hybrids (design, synthesis, characterization) for thin-film device applications spanning solar cells, transistors, memories, and charge-storage devices such as flexible batteries and supercapacitors (device assembly, testing, and performance optimizations). Bridging Materials Science and Chemistry, our Research benefits from a strong network of collaborative interactions with several other Groups in major Academic institutions worldwide (Stanford, Georgia Tech, UC Berkeley, Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research).
