Applications are invited for the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow in Inclusive Education. The post holder will be involved in primary research, teaching and public engagement activities associated with one or more projects directed by Professor Lani Florian, Bell Chair of Education. Professor Florian's research and teaching focus on three Inter-related areas:

• School and Classroom practice: evidencing inclusive practice; the relationship between achievement and inclusion, and inclusive pedagogy;
• International development: technical support and evaluation of inclusive education projects in different world regions.
• Teacher education for inclusive education: research and development activities in teacher education that respond to the challenges of preparing teachers for the changing demographic of schooling.

The successful candidate will contribute to a range of tasks associated with projects in these areas such as reviews of literature, developing research proposals, data collection and analysis, and research-led teaching.

You will have a degree and post-graduate qualification in education or a relevant social science discipline and experience of a variety of research practices including organising and conducting research, analysing data, conducting literature reviews and writing for publication. Research-led teaching and course development at Master's level will make up a significant part of the post. You will have experience of university teaching.

This post is full time and fixed term for 12 months.

The salary is £30,728 to £36,661 per annum.
