(Full Time, Fixed Term, 6 months)

The successful applicant will start on 1st June 2014 (or shortly after) for a fixed term of 6 months. You will work as part of a team involved in a major funded projects focussed on energy in the built environment. The primary function of this post is to provide thermal comfort expertise to the group.

You will join a team of 10 PhD students and two post-doctoral fellows, thus the ability to work as part of a team and provide guidance to junior members is essential. International travel is also a key requirement for this post.

It is essential that you have a PhD (or be close to completing one) and strong background involving architecture, thermal comfort evaluation and experimentation with demonstrable experience in each area. You should have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to organise and conduct work independently. Previous experience in architectural design is essential.
